User Centric Mindset
Aditi brings strong program management and functional analysis skills: the ability to assess market and user needs, define product vision, and create specifications that address the following elements.

Target Market: What is the target market for this product and problems within that market that are being solved? Should the product be offered as licensed software deployed in-house or hosted as service?

Competition: What are the alternatives for our customers and how will our product be superior? What are the tangible elements that we can incorporate in our product that will make it a superior alternative?

Buyer: Who are the economic and technical buyers, and what are their needs in the product? What is the sales process? What functionality can be built into the product that makes it easy to demo and sell? What are the support requirements of the product? How can we shorten deployment time and reduce the long-term support costs for the product?

End User: Who is the end user, and how will we address their needs and wants? What user metaphors are they already familiar with? How can we leverage them to reduce the learning curve? How can we maximize learning ability and usability, though they can be orthogonal? What are their integration needs and support requirements?

Technology Drivers: What is the technology ecosystem within which this product needs to operate? What are the limitations? What are the creative ways we can use technology and deliver benefits? Aditi's program manager works with the client team - usually onsite - to gain this understanding and ensure the offshore delivery team also gets the same understanding. They work closely together to avoid the risk of misunderstandings as the requirements evolve.

Effective User Model
Clear understanding needs to be translated into effective user model for the product. Our program manager and offshore development team, work together to ensure that the needs are correctly translated into an appropriate user model.

Vision to Release
A clear vision and roadmap is critical to the success of any product business. The original vision for the product typically gets realized over multiple release cycles. A roadmap defines the path over which market and user understanding get translated into tangible products. Our program manager and our offshore product development team work with the client's product marketing teams to build a realistic roadmap and release cycles that take into account their investment constraints. Involving the development team in release planning helps accelerate development cycles in many instances by incorporating features that product management may believe are high effort but the development team finds easy ways to implement. It also identifies risks early on where a simple feature may result in a complex development effort, and thus high cost.

The Aditi Program Manager
A "Functional architect, organizer, facilitator, and the customer's face to the team" all rolled into one. The keeper of the software product; from vision to ship.

Aditi's User Centric Mindset
Successful products have superior user experience. Delivering such experience starts with a clear understanding of the target market and end users. The entire offshore product development team must be capable of understanding the market, competition, the buyers, and the needs of the end users. Such an understanding translates into proper modeling of the product, along with a vision and roadmap that lays out the various release cycles over which complete functionality is delivered.
