Product Culture
Product development is not merely coding to spec; it involves understanding user needs, managing changing requirements, having product specific processes, and a culture that fosters ownership and a "my product" mentality.

People: Product Developers, not Programmers
We hire and train high-end product developers, as building a product requires proper generalization, flexible design, and disciplined coding. Our training and team environment ensure that they can think through all aspects of the problem being solved, build flexible architectures, and write robust code. Aditi's recruitment process is very rigorous and highly selective. Each year we receive more than 100,000 resumes and make offers to less than 1% of those that make it to the interview stage. Aditi's interviewers (developers) are highly selective about who they want to work with. They test each interviewee on multiple levels. The interviews get progressively tough based on strengths and weaknesses of the candidate identified in the interview process.

Culture
Aditi's culture consists of many mutually reinforcing aspects.

"My Product" Mentality: Aditi instills in its team a "my product" mentality that brings complete ownership of our client's products. Such an ownership is critical to push the envelope on innovation. It enables constant questioning with clients to ensure relevant issues are solved effectively. It also is a key facilitator of the "Can Do" attitude common among our developers. Aditi's developers also take great pride in building world-class products with cutting edge technologies. Such pride increases their affinity with the job. As a result many Aditi developers have stayed with the company for long periods of time.

"True Partner" Approach: Our team thinks and acts like a true partner as opposed to a vendor. This involves going beyond the call of duty where needed; actively discussing with the client on multiple ways to enhance features and create an enriched user experience, solving the client's customer's problem even if it is not within the normal scope of the team.

Work Hard, Play Hard: Building products for highly competitive environments require development teams that can properly match that intensity. It is enabled by Aditi's developers who take work and life seriously. Aditi ensures that the developers are groomed to be achievers in multiple areas, both in professional and personal development.

The Aditi Program Manager
A "Functional architect, organizer, facilitator, and the customer's face to the team" all rolled into one. The keeper of the software product; from vision to ship.

Aditi's User Centric Mindset
Successful products have superior user experience. Delivering such experience starts with a clear understanding of the target market and end users. The entire offshore product development team must be capable of understanding the market, competition, the buyers and the needs of the end users. Such an understanding translates into proper modeling of the product, along with a vision and roadmap that lays out the various release cycles over which complete functionality is delivered.
