Can software help fight poverty? The Grameen Foundation's Technology Center leverages the power of technology to advance microfinance and provide solutions to microfinance institutions (MFIs). It recently launched Mifos, a management information system, that helps MFIs improve operational efficiency. The software platform was designed to ensure flexibility, scalability, and extensibility. It was written in Java (JDK 1.5), and uses an open source framework and industry-standard third party components. Aditi developed the Mifos software platform for Grameen Technology Center, enabling it to make a worldwide launch at the Microfinance Summit in November 2007.

Software for a broadband world Pi is developing a next generation software environment that will allow users to create, repurpose, store, share, and access personal information in novel ways. Founded by Paul Maritz, who was earlier a key exec and member of the executive committee at Microsoft, Pi is led by an exceptional team of industry pioneers and technology gurus. Pi is partnering with Aditi to identify and build the core team that will be the foundation of the design and development center in India. Apart from providing Pi with critical know-how on team creation and incubation capabilities, Aditi is helping Pi to scale its engineering efforts.
