Aditi makes breakthrough entry into collaboration services for the financial services domain
Takes ownership of MindAlign 6x product IP from Parlano, and acquires 56 global customers, including 5 of the top 7 global banks.

Seattle | Bangalore. October 30, 2007

Aditi Technologies, the Bangalore headquartered outsourced product development (OPD) company, today announced that it has taken ownership of the Intellectual Property rights for MindAlign 6, a market-leading application for enterprise group chat, from Parlano, which was recently acquired by Microsoft.

As part of the deal, Aditi has also acquired 56 customers who currently use MindAlign 6, including 5 of the top 7 global banks according to Forbes. A majority of these customers are leading Financial Services firms spread across US and Europe, including  UBS, Lehman Brothers, Royal Bank of Scotland, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, HSBC, Bank of America, Wachovia, CIBC, and Standard Chartered Bank among others.

The product is business critical for these companies, as many of their divisions rely on it as their main communication channel and inter-team collaboration mechanism, where email is too slow to be effective.

Aditi will use this as a launch pad to enter the enterprise collaboration space where it will focus on building product-IP based solutions for global financial services institutions. Aditi is in the process of rolling a very aggressive growth plan for the business, and will also work closely with Microsoft to help customers move to the Office Communications Server 2007 platform in the future.

Pradeep Singh, Founder and CEO of Aditi, says “Aditi has always been about building intellectual property and this is a natural extension. It strengthens our focus in the collaboration and unified communications space, which is the next big frontier in enterprise computing. MindAlign is a very ‘sticky’ application widely used by financial services firms, and it gives us a great launch pad to enter this exciting space with strong IP based solutions”.

This announcement represents an extension of Aditi’s product focus and its strategy of building model around product IP rather than low-cost IT services. Aditi will continue its aggressive momentum in the OPD space, creating products and IP for ISVs, particularly in emerging Microsoft and Web2.0 product areas.
